The Ötztal Valley boasts over 315 kilometres of pistes, making it the perfect destination for your ski holiday. In Sölden alone there are 150 kilometres of perfectly groomed pistes and 34 ski lifts. The glacier ski areas of the Rettenbach Glacier and Tiefenbach Glacier are two of the few ski areas given a snow guarantee from November to May by the Ötztal tourist office.

The so-called "BIG3" – the three three-thousand high peaks of the Gaislachkogl (3,058m), Tiefenbachkogl (3,250 m) and Schwarze Scheide (3,340 m) – are a must for all skiers and boarders!

Gaislach-Silbertal toboggan run

There is a 5 km toboggan run from the Gaislachalm or Silbertal. You can either walk or take a shuttle up the mountain. Toboggan rental is available.

Stablein in Vent toboggan run

Enjoy a comfortable ride up to the top of the Stablein in Vent toboggan run on a two-seater chairlift before racing down the 5 km toboggan run. Toboggan rental is available.


Ice skating in Sölden

The new ice rink in Sölden is open from 1st December until February or March. Don’t miss out on the fun! Ice skates can be rented from the ice skating rink.
